Osmo Action 5 Pro is the usual Hero 13 Black comparison

Shenzhen-based DJI held over 90% of the global consumer drone market in 2024, and reviewers rate its Osmo Action 5 Pro ahead of the GoPro Hero 13 Black on sensor size, battery life and low-light video. Since the FCC's December 2025 Covered List action new DJI models can't get US authorization (the Osmo Pocket 4 isn't sold in the US), though models already approved keep working.

A February 2026 US ITC exclusion order over a GoPro design patent covers only older designs; Insta360's current lineup remains on US sale.
